James Thomas Jackson born 1900 Oldham Lancs. James son of Herbert and Maria ( Bradbury ) Jackson. James Marries Emily Alice Abbott born 1898 Oldham Lancs. Daughter of George and Susan ( Chadwick ) Abbott Children of James and Emily were Alec born 1932. Alice born 1938 both in Oldham, Lancs.
Through finding a grave at Chadderton Cemetery bougtht by George Abbott 1870 -1947 Emilys father, in it are Emily, Alec, Alice who died on 5 June 1946, buried 29 Aug 1946, death registered Oct /Nov/ Dec 1946. This set alarm bells ringing.
We have now located a Newspaper article with the event, James Killed his wife and both children at home Tamarix Hull rd, Hedon Yorkshire. James was charged with murder but he was declared insane and unfit to stand trial.
